On May 18th the Ninth Annual Impact A Hero anticipates more than 3,000 runners including 50 wounded heroes and their families. Texans center Chris Myers, the honorary chairman, several of his coaches, and teammates will participate with America’s wounded heroes. The Texans will be sponsoring the Kids Area. Funds raised help by providing emotional & financial support for our wounded veterans and their families.

Our friends Westin Homes, the builder of the 2013 Project Playhouse, has created a playhouse theme that is “out of this world!”
Westin has partnered with HomeAid Houston, a 501c3 charity of the Greater Houston Builders Association, the Houston Astros and the Astros Foundation, to construct a playhouse for this seventh annual fundraiser that salutes the Astros new mascot, Orbit. Orbit is a lime-green outer-space creature wearing an Astros jersey with antennae extending into baseballs. He was originally the team’s mascot from the 1990 through the 1999 seasons.
