Earlier this month, Chevron Houston Marathon runners participated in the best races of the event’s history. The twenty-five thousand runners enjoyed beautiful weather, a brand new course and boisterous fans.
Two returning champions won their second Chevron Houston Marathon, sharing the podium with a pair of first-time winners who completed the race in just over two hours! The top American winner was former Georgia star Ian Burrell, who placed in seventh with a lifetime best of 2:13:26. First place runner Bazu Worku from Ethiopia sealed his victory with a $40,000 payday!
