On Sunday, April 13th, residents and guests enjoy spring fun at Cypress Creek Lakes. Guests met the Easter Bunny at one of Cypress Creek Lakes’ three Recreation Centers. There was also a petting zoo with rabbits, chickens, ducks, small goat, mini horse and mini donkey and the Porch Swing Dessert food truck was serving delectable sweet treats.
The main attraction were the Easter Egg hunts located on the recreation grass area. Each age group hunt included 1,000 plastic Easter eggs and a golden egg, which was exchanged for a Toys "R" Us goodie bag.
Towne Lake is set to host their third annual Lake-A-Palooza event this Sunday, April 13th from 12 to 5 pm. There will be lots of family-friendly activities to enjoy such as bumper boats, bubble walkers, boat rides, rock climbing, face painting and delicious food trucks. The best part? Lake-A-Palooza is free and open to the public.
Politicians and public figures descended on GEICO’s new claims operation in Katy yesterday as the official ribbon cutting ceremony was held in celebration of the new 138,000-square-foot office grand opening. The new building represents hundreds of new employment opportunities for Katy, and the rest of Greater Houston, by 2015.
For nearly twenty-five years, Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion has been a cultural beacon in the Woodlands and the rest of Greater Houston. Hundreds of thousands of patrons descend on the amphitheater every year to see stirring performances from the Houston Symphony, Houston Ballet and other national performing acts. And on Wednesday, April 9th, one of the best musical groups in the world is slated to rock the stage at Cynthia Woods.
