Dust off your ruff, noblemen and women! The Texas Renaissance Festival is in full swing. This season marks the festival’s 40th anniversary, and it’s already yielding record-breaking attendance numbers.
It would be uncharacteristic of the festival to turn 40 without a special celebration. Thus, planners have added a major event to this year’s lineup: King Midas’s Masquerade Ball. A new tented pavillion, dubbed King Midas’s Golden Court, has been constructed to host the event.
