On Friday, January 30th, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo presents the Sparkle and Spurs Dinner and Dance, an event sure to spin your spurs.
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is a charity that benefits Texas youth and supports education in the community. In addition, the organization works to better agricultural practices by encouraging and promoting the breeding, raising and marketing of better livestock and farm products at public fairs. The charity also assists and organizes continued research and educational endeavors within the livestock industry.
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo began in 1932—since then, it has dedicated over $370 million to scholarships, research, endowments, calf scramble participants, junior show exhibitors, School Art participants and other educational youth programs.
The Sparkle and Spurs Dinner and Dance will be taking place at the Spring Chateau, a beautiful venue with dazzling chandeliers, a picturesque waterfall and gorgeous interior design.
The event will include a mouthwatering dinner, festive dancing, live and silent auctions and an open bar. Snazzy Western attire is encouraged!
