We're seeing a strong demand for new homes with soaring ceilings and expansive walls of windows that maximize natural light and create a more open, inviting atmosphere. In interior design, warmer color palettes are replacing the cool grays that dominated the market for years. Kitchens are featuring rich wood tones, warm whites, and natural finishes, while darker accent walls are being used to add depth, character, and a custom feel to living spaces. 

Which floor plan features are new home buyers requesting most often? 

Today's home buyers are prioritizing flexibility and functionality. One of the most requested features is a floor plan with two bedrooms on the first floor, which works well for multigenerational living, guests, or growing families. Dedicated office space remains highly desirable as remote, and hybrid work continues to influence home-buying decisions. We’re also seeing buyers think beyond the walls of the home.
